From Complexity to Emergence : #IAMTALKS : The Futures of Education a.k.a. Learning

Rachel Uwa - The School of Machines, Making and Make-Believe

Rachel Uwa, founder of the School of Machines, Making & Make-Believe, is driven by a passion for experimentation. Educating at the intersection of art, technology, design and human connection, the School of Maaa provides an opportunity for technologists, developers and designers to apply a more entrepreneurial approach to being creative.

This is based in creating an environment that promotes experimentation, imperfection and openness, allowing students to ask questions and make mistakes, and at IAM Weekend 16, Rachel emphasised how these values should be embraced by those of all ages. Only by doing so can we explore the possibilities for future technologies in art, society and politics.
